A few weeks ago, I read about Whole Foods offering "Value Tours" at its stores. The intent of these Value Tours is to show customers how to shop on a budget at Whole Foods aka Whole Paycheck. The recent introduction of these tours is an obvious nod to the difficult economic times we are all facing and concerns about the rising price of everyday necessities such as gas and food.
It is somehow disconcerting that Whole Foods has gone to such lengths to reach out to customers. Just how bad is the economy?
You can check the store calendar for the next scheduled Value Tour in your area by locating your store's website here. Whole Foods also has a video of a Value Tour on its blog.
